Don't be daunted by watercolor! Join Eileen as she helps demystify the art of botanical watercolor painting. People of all experience levels will enjoy the relaxed, non-judgemental environment cultivated by Eileen in her classes. Students will begin by learning to mix the infinite colors of nature using only six (6) colors and making a color journal. As lessons progress, Eileen will facilitate specific exercises: Matching colors, controlling watercolor, creating the "illusion" of dimensionality. Practice begins with the simpler subject matter of fruits and vegetables, then progresses to the more nuanced forms of flowers and plants.
Class size limited to 15.
The first class MUST be attended. Please call the Arboretum at 610-647-8870 to pre-register and to obtain a class list of supplies needed.
