Visitors of all ages are invited to take a guided tour of Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, offered at 2:00 p.m. seven days a week from April 1 through October 31, 2007. Join a trained volunteer naturalist or staff person and discover nature together as you walk along trails that wind through woodlands, meadows, along a pond and Pidcock Creek.

When you arrive at the Preserve, please sign up for the guided tour in the Visitor Center. Guided tours leave from the Visitor Center for a minimum of two visitors, weather permitting, and last about one hour.

The daily guided tour is included in the Preserve admission fee. Admission for non-members: Adults-$5, Seniors (62 yrs.+)-$3, Fulltime students (15 yrs.+)-$3, Children 4 through 14-$2, Under 4-free. Preserve members are admitted free. Plenty of free parking is available.

Customized tours for school groups or adult groups can be scheduled at other times by pre-arrangement.

Visit often to experience nature’s ever-changing display. See native flowers, fruits and foliage in season and discover fun facts about their use. Learn about the Preserve’s history and habitats and hear fascinating stories about native plant and animal interactions. Trails are well-marked, short and easy to walk on.
