An Introduction to Native Spring Wildflowers

Mt. Cuba Center is renowned for having one of the region’s finest displays of native spring wildflowers. Horticultural research manager, Jeanne Frett, will lead a three-session course focusing on the identification and cultivation of 36 outstanding species. Topics covered will include purchasing, site selection, planting, maintenance, and companion plants. In addition to the lectures, three labs in the wildflower gardens will be conducted by Mt. Cuba Center docents.
