April 27 Sundial Garden: Then & Now
Follow the progression of the Sundial Garden area from its early use as the family’s tennis court to the influence of Marian Coffin on the “April Garden” to the present-day Sundial Garden. We have searched the Archives for the original layout of the playground and for photographs to bring garden history to life. Duncan Pike, garden guide specialist, will look at the plant palette used to create this April masterpiece.
Join us for demonstrations, talks, and guided walks covering a wide range of gardening topics. Programs take place on Wednesdays starting at the Winterthur Greenhouses. Visit our Wednesdays at Winterthur page for detailed descriptions of each program. Members free. Included with admission.
