Film Screening of "Arthur B. Carles: Philadelphia Artist"

Two screenings of American INSIGHT's documentray film, "Arthur B. Carles: Philadelphia Artist" will take place in the John J. Willaman Education Center at Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens on Wednesday, April 20 at 5pm and again at 7pm. The Director/Producer Margaret Chew Barringer will be at the Arboretum for both screenings and will conduct a 10 minute Question & Answer Forum before the 5 o'clock showing and after the 7 o'clock showing. The film runs 50 minutes.
Between the film showing, refreshments will be served and filmgoers will have the opportunity to stroll the Spring gardens and view the sculpture exhibition "Wind Through the Trees".
Arthur B. Carles: Philadelphia Artist is a lavish documentary that examines the stunning artistic virtuosity of a seminal, but nearly forgotten figure whose career spanned the height of Philadelphia's cultural legacy during the first part of the twentieth century.
