Camden Childrens’ Garden invites the public to its 6th Annual Garden Party Fundraiser, on Thursday, June 16^th, 2011. Camden chose the timely theme of "FIGHTING HUNGER IN CAMDEN," as the CCGC is currently constructing our 110th Food-Producing Community Garden.

The evening's festivities, 6pm-9pm, will take place at the enchanted Camden Children's Garden on the Waterfront, overlooking the Delaware River and the Philadelphia skyline.

The Garden Party promises to be a highlight of the Spring season - with delectable local fresh foods prepared with a Mexican Flare by SNJ’s Renown Chef Mark Smith, owner of the Tortilla Press. A short program will honor our generous sponsors and extraordinary supporters with the Champions of Children Award. Entertainment will delight guests as they stroll under the stars in the whimsical Camden Children’s Garden. Guests will enjoy harp music from Music by Dishong while bidding on Auction Baskets collected from incredible donations from local attractions, gardens, businesses, and friends of the Garden.

Tickets are available for $125/guest, $225/couple, and children (3-12) may attend for $35 per child. Proceeds from this event go directly to our programs and operations. As a 501 (C) (3) organization, part of your contribution may be tax deductible, so please consult your accountant for more information. Your support benefits our Grow Lab Program in Camden schools, and our Youth Employment & Training Program. Of course your support also assists the Camden Children’s Garden in providing a place for families to explore and discover the natural world.
