Then, enjoy a ramble down pine barrens trails, along a creek and the Batsto River, viewing wildflowers and doing casual birding. After lunching at the picnic grounds, tour the restored iron-making village of Batsto. Finally, visit nearby Evans Bridge, which will likely offer views of the beautiful endangered Pine Barrens Gentian.
Bring lunch, comfortable walking shoes, and insect repellant. A beverage and delectable snacks will be provided.
