Home-grown veggies taste delicious and are also more economical and nutritious than those bought from the store. Growing your own food is also a way to live more sustainably. Whether you want to grow a few tomatoes or really go into production, this workshop will give you all the information you need to get a great start on your 2012 garden. Master Gardener and avid vegetable gardener Leslie Trimble will discuss location, soil preparation, seed starting, and plant selection and culture.
