Creating a Butterfly Sanctuary

Tyler Arboretum

Wed, May 2, 2012, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Tickets: 0

Butterflies add enchantment to our gardens and are also an indicator of an ecologically healthy landscape. Butterfly habitat is in decline but gardeners can make a difference by creating a landscape that provides the conditions that butterflies need to survive. Drawing from lessons gained from Tyler’s popular Butterfly House, Betsey Ney will discuss how to choose and grow the best butterfly plants and other factors that will ensure success.

Pre-registration is required; $12 members, $15 non-members
