Spring wildflowers are thrilling to observe in nature and gardeners often wish to recapture that enchantment in their home gardens. This six-week course will provide information on identification and cultivation of 74 herbaceous perennials and woody plants selected by the knowledgeable staff of Mt. Cuba Center for their garden adaptability and availability as nursery-propagated plants. Students will gain valuable tips on purchasing, site selection, planting, maintenance, and companion plants. Guided Plant Walks at Mt. Cuba Center and Longwood Gardens are included.
