National Public Gardens Day
Mt. Cuba Center
Fri, May 11, 2012, 10am - 3pm
Tickets: 0
Now in its fourth year celebrating North America’s public gardens, National Public Gardens Day is a national day of awareness in which communities nationwide are invited to visit and learn about the role their public gardens play. An event that occurs annually on the Friday preceding Mother’s Day weekend, National Public Gardens Day is the result of a partnership between the American Public Gardens Association (APGA) and the irrigation product and service provider, Rain Bird. On Friday, May 11th , Mt. Cuba Center will open for strolling from 10am to 3pm. Experience our woods, ponds and formal gardens. Bring your family – we will have activities for children. Admission is free for the day.
