Sacred Plants

Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania

Tickets: 40 members, $45 non-members

Plants are sacred; they provide us with the oxygen we breathe and the building blocks of life - nourishment, medicine, and materials. This course will introduce and celebrate our inextricable union with plants through classroom and field components. Participants will learn the uses of numerous plant species found throughout Morris Arboretum. Emphasis will be placed on developing sound identification skills, collecting protocols, and understanding applicable terminology.
