The Nuts and Bolts of Integrated Pest Management

Join us for a day of intensive study of the theory and practice of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) with one of the leading entomologists in the U.S. This course is designed for arborists, growers, and property managers who want to gain a deeper understanding of how to minimize insect damage in a sustainable manner. During this class Dr. Raupp's will draw on his research at the University of Maryland that focuses on creating sustainable landscape systems with minimal dependence on synthetic pesticides through the conservation and enhancement of biological diversity with special emphasis on natural enemy communities. This course carries 5.5 CEUs for ISA certified arborists and 6 CEUs for PA landscape architects.
