The goal of a becoming "more sustainable" is a popular idea, but to many of us, sustainability remains a difficult concept to define. Participants will gain a better understanding of how the everyday choices each of us makes has an impact on the environment. Participants will learn about some low cost, do-it-yourself techniques they can implement at their own homes and places of business, including harvesting rain water, the creative re-use of materials to reduce our 'eco-footprint,' and employing intelligent design strategies that will help improve the health of the surrounding ecosystem.
