Every gardener and nature enthusiast knows there are countless ways to appreciate and participate in the wonderful world of plants. We invite you to come explore and discuss with fellow plant-lovers the joys and mysteries of nature that can be found between the pages of a good book. Each month a new title will be discussed. Selections will vary with fiction to nonfiction to capture the many facets of nature that touch our lives. Whether you are a book-lover, a plant-lover, or just interested in good conversation, we hope that you will join us for this monthly discussion.
September - Eating the Sun is the story of a world in crisis, an appreciation of the importance of plants, and a celebration of how the smallest things (enzymes and pigments) influence the largest things (oceans, rainforests, and the fossil fuel economy).
