Winterthur Offers Weekly Garden Walks, Talks and Demonstrations on Wednesdays
Winterthur’s experienced horticultural staff and garden guides to present a variety of topics throughout the year

Tips on butterfly and container gardening, pruning and shade gardening tips,are among the topics that will be covered in a series of weekly workshops conducted by Winterthur’s horticultural staff and garden guides during “Wednesdays at Winterthur” continuing throughout the year. During these educational demonstrations, talks, and guided walks, which take place in the garden beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays, Winterthur’s gardening experts will discuss a variety of topics geared to beginning/intermediate gardeners. All demonstrations are free with admission. “This is an unbelievable opportunity to get information from our horticulturists, who are eager to share their expertise and love of gardening with our visitors,” said Chris Strand, director of the garden and estate.
